But sir, what should I do with all these old business cards?
Forged of 1 side gloss business cards and sellotape. I figured it’d be a waste just to throw them out (wrong domain & email as of March 2008).

Inundated with a post…
So it’s been a tad frustrating, trying to think of a topic to cover in this, the first blog post on the newly refurbished Haggard homepage. Skirting through my head were thoughts of Wordpress tutorials, tips on vector design, screen printing, punk music in design; the list goes on. I finally came to the conclusion that I’d write a post about nothing in particular. It’s an introduction, revolving around an un-topic. So I’ll start it off by telling you a bit about myself, if only to later copy it verbatim to the About page.
About The Author
I came into this world on the Wednesday, the 18th of January, 1989. Since then I’ve been spending an inordinate amount of time drawing, eating and sleeping. The first 18 years of my life were spent living with my loving parents in Donnybrook, a small town about 30 kilometres south of Bunbury, Western Australia. Early on in 2007 I moved to Perth to study Multi-media, and try my hand at web-design in the local city-scape.
Since living in Perth, I’ve met some great people, and done some work I can be proud of. I’ve taken up Bass guitar, listened to my fair share of great music (Punk, thank you), been to some fantastic places, attended important and interesting events, worked with wonderful developers, and eventually found my way to freelance web-design.
About The Site
Haggard Design is my personal website, and was hand-crafted with love from the ground up. This site will feature upcoming and completed personal works, as well as in-depth looks into the technology and design methods behind some items, with a semi-frequently updated blog featuring articles on the web, design trends, developments in web technology and an assortment of other topics. Every month or so, various articles will be compiled into a specially designed e-Zine, available for download in PDF, so you can drop by as frequently or sparingly as you like, and not miss out on any of the action.
Besides the content, a number of interesting facts about this website exist, for instance:
- This site has been built from scratch and lovingly inter-woven with Wordpress
- Various icons on the site belong to the open source Silk set from Famfamfam.com
- This site is built using XHTML 1.0 Strict , and CSS that conforms to W3C’s Web Standards
- Haggard Design is hosted with award winning web-host, Jumba
